Target Audience:

Christina Cameron

Christina Cameron loves sewing, wild creativity and teaching skills that help preserve our precious planet while having fun. She has worked in the fashion industry as an assistant designer, pattern maker and cutter in designer, sportswear and swimwear in her 20s. Finding that the fashion industry was so wasteful, she moved into other areas of life but has returned with a passion for teaching sewing and mending.

She wants people to have the confidence to repair their clothing, upcycle and enjoy the adventure of making beautiful things for themselves and enjoying the creative process while reducing textiles going to landfill. She takes into consideration all materials used and discarded and their impact on the Earth.

She teaches sewing in Mullumbimby to a wide variety of students – children and adults and welcomes those with learning challenges.
