Introduction:

There will be dancing, splashing, spraying, scraping, dripping, laughing and a head-over-heels love affair with colour. Each of us will be painting on a large canvas, adding new layers, in a fun and encouraging environment. Rediscover your enthusiasm for life and uncover painting talents you never knew you had.

What to bring

  • Glass or plastic jar for water
  • Large sheet/drop cloth
  • Hairdryer
  • Water spray bottle
  • Paper towels and Chux super wipe
  • Acrylic paint palette or a pack of cheap plastic plates
  • $35 cash to pay tutor for full use of all materials

Important information

Once your enrolment is completed you will receive a confirmation email. This email will include your receipt and inform you of the dates, times and venue for your course. It will also let you know of anything you need to take to class with you.

Please make sure that you give us a valid email address and mobile number as any course changes will be communicated via sms or email.

Students are required to be 15 years old and above at the time of enrolment.

With small class sizes for a better learning experience, our courses can fill up fast, but they also need a minimum number of enrolments to run, so avoid disappointment and enrol early!

Tutor Profile:

Melanie Dilday

Melanie has taught at TAFE colleges, the Fremantle Art Centre in WA, Grafton Artfest NSW, McGregor School Qld, Territory Arts and Crafts NT, Community Arts Bribie Island Qld and Camp Creative NSW and travels extensively holding workshops. She holds a Cert IV Training and Assessment and loves to share her passion for life through creative expression. She has authored a book Buddha in a Red Dress, runs meditation, dance sessions and intuitive painting classes in Mullumbimby and Mt Tamborine on a regular basis.

What Melanie loves about her long artistic career is that she has truly found her groove through this intuitive painting process that is a culmination of all her greatest joys and strengths: dancing, personal growth, meditation, creative expression and colour.
