Tutor Profile:
Lauren Siemonsma
Lauren is the clay covered hands behind ceramics label 'Ochre Ceramics' where she teaches handbuilding workshops and also produces her own pottery pieces.
Her classes are a beautiful ‘entree’ into the world of clay. Hosted in the most dreamy light filled studio, Lauren's classes are four weeks of absolute pottery bliss.
She encourages you to let go of ‘I’m not good’ ‘I’m not creative’ and just be kind to yourself. You will be taught hand building basics… How to make a pinch pot, how to slab build and coil with clay, how to attach handles, legs etc. EVEN how to glaze your beautiful pieces. You will end up with a series of finished, glazed and fired pieces… You may even make a complete tea set!
