Tutor Profile:
Barbara NathanAs a teacher and therapist, I believe that words, and the profound silences that can be found in between, are pearls beyond price.
Stories and language have fascinated me since my teens and I’ve marvelled at the power to soothe, love, intrigue, and transport us to unknown worlds. As an adult, I honed this passion into a craft through a creative writing degree at Southern Cross University, backed by years of personal journaling, memoirs, and writing for small papers.
In both my therapeutic and educational work, I treat writing as a spiritual practice - a mindful space where we can silence our caustic inner critic, surrender to our deep imagination, and trust the words that come next.
