Introduction:
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist looking to expand your skills, this course offers a hands-on, immersive experience that will ignite your artistic passion.
Day One we will be exploring monoprint. This technique allows for limitless creativity and spontaneous expression, every monoprint is unique, offering endless possibilities for experimentation and creativity.
Day Two Rachel will guide you through the essentials of linocut, helping you create stunning prints that showcase your unique artistic vision. Learn to carve, ink, and print your own designs, and create bold, graphic artworks that stand out.
You will walk away with a small edition of your designs.

- Drawings for inspirations
Course Fees
To be eligible for ACE funding, you must:
- Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or humanitarian visa holder, or a New Zealand citizen; and
- Live or work in New South Wales; and
- Be aged 15 years or older; and
- No longer be at school or equivalent; and
- Provide the College with your USI at the time of enrolment (admin staff can assist you in obtaining a USI)
- Have not previously completed the units of competency listed.

Important information
Once your enrolment is completed you will receive a confirmation email. This email will include your receipt and inform you of the dates, times and venue for your course. It will also let you know of anything you need to take to class with you.Please make sure that you give us a valid email address and mobile number as any course changes will be communicated via sms or email.
We keep our class sizes small so that you get a better experience. Avoid disappointment, enrol early!
USI
You must provide BRCC with your USI at enrolment. If you don’t already have one, you (or your parent or guardian) can apply for one at http://usi.gov.au/create-your-USI/Pages/default.aspx. You will need to have one form of identification and a valid email address to create your USI.
Alternatively, college staff can assist you to create your USI. We will need to collect your identification and personal information to complete this. You will also need to complete a consent form for us to do this.

With small class sizes for a better learning experience, our courses can fill up fast, but they also need a minimum number of enrolments to run, so avoid disappointment and enrol early!
Tutor Profile:
Rachel has been printmaking for the past 8 years, exploring the differing techniques print has to offer. She has been a resident of Byron Shire for 25 years, firstly Huonbrook now Brunswick Heads her art practice strongly reflects place in the landscape. She has a Degree in Visual Arts specialising in printmaking and is passionate to share her extensive knowledge of the processes of etching and printmaking. Rachel regularly teaches printmaking to High school students, in the fully equipped studio where the possibilities of creating prints is limitless.
