Byron College News: What’s Happening and What’s Ahead

With the year drawing to a close, Byron Community College has been busy with classes, end of year assessments, and community events like the Mullum Christmas Trail and Permablitz. The College continues to deliver outreach programs in the wider community. In partnership with First Sun Employment, it has been running the First Steps Outreach Program in Tweed, supporting First Nations learners to build skills in reading, writing, communication, numeracy, and digital literacy. All about community at Byron Community College

There’s a real buzz at the College as Term 4 moves along and the festive season approaches. We began the term by welcoming students with a pizza lunch in the courtyard, featuring pizzas from local legends Baker Daughters — the perfect way to kick off a season of learning, creativity, community and connection. Our Youth Program has been thriving, giving young people hands-on experience, practical skills, and confidence for the future.
