Introduction:

'So French!' is an introductory French course for students with little or no prior knowledge of French. During 8 weeks, you will discover the French & Francophone culture while developing a sound basic knowledge of the structure of the language and practicing the four basic language skills: speaking, listening, writing and reading.

Taught by a native French speaker, the course is focused on communicative skills with a strong oral component. Various authentic and audio-visual materials support this integrated approach to language learning. All material will be provided during the class. The 2-hour weekly class includes a tea break so you can have the opportunity to get to know each other and relax. The course is a fabulous way to meet new people, share your experience and interest of cultures and languages, enhance your memory and cognitive skills, open your mind to other worldviews and - have fun!

We will cover greetings, talking about yourself and other people (descriptions, likes and dislikes, hobbies, habits), expressing feelings and language skills for everyday-life purposes.
