Nathan Strawbridge - Certificate III in Permaculture

Having come from a building background I hadn’t had much experience in gardening let alone Permaculture but I had heard of it as most people probably have and a few friends had undertaken various courses in it so when I came across Byron Community College I was pretty ecstatic to the prospects of combining some Permaculture services into my already operating business.  

 The Certificate III is an amazing grass roots level course that allows immense practical learning whilst building connections with fellow students. The tutors have provided incredible value in what they passed on which has enabled me to build onto. Not having studied for quite some time I had moments of despair with some assessments but with a little time management I swiftly passed through them. 

 Upon completion of this course I have felt it has opened up a whole other journey for me. I will likely combine some Permaculture Design and implementation services to my Carpentry business as I also would like to move towards building naturally. Although I don’t see it finishing there, who knows where it will take me. I have already enrolled in Certificate IV in Permaculture for 2020 with BCC as I would love to build on as well as deepen my recently learnt skills and experience.  

 If anyone is thinking of studying the Certificate III in Permaculture with Byron Community College I thoroughly recommend it. I am sure it will unleash in you a love for plants and the earth as it has with me.
