Be ready for the unexpected with a practical emergency plan made for you, your life and what matters most.

You need a plan for when the unexpected happens.

Know what to do before disaster strikes. Using the Person-Centred Emergency Preparedness framework, you’ll create a practical emergency plan for natural or human-made disasters, built around your strengths, experiences and everyday life.

This inclusive course uses the Person-Centred Emergency Preparedness framework from Collaborating 4 Inclusion, designed by people with disability for people with disability. It goes beyond a standard emergency plan, asking important questions about your individual needs, routines and support to help you feel prepared for the unexpected.

Important information

Once your enrolment is completed you will receive a confirmation email. This email will include your receipt and inform you of the dates, times and venue for your course. It will also let you know of anything you need to take to class with you.

Tutor Profile:

  Murray Drechsler

Murray Drechsler is an experienced emergency preparedness facilitator and long-term NSW Rural Fire Service volunteer, with a strong background in community education and disaster preparedness. A trained Person-Centred Emergency Preparedness (P-CEP) facilitator, Murray is passionate about helping people understand their individual risks, strengths and support needs so they can feel more prepared when emergencies happen.

With extensive frontline and community experience in the Northern Rivers, Murray brings a practical, inclusive and down-to-earth approach to emergency planning, helping people create plans that genuinely work for their lives.
