Introduction:



In this Paella Workshop, you’ll learn to cook one of Spain’s most iconic dishes step by step the traditional way.
Discover the secrets of authentic seafood paella, from preparing the fumet (fish stock) to achieving the perfect socarrat (crispy rice bottom), before coming together to enjoy your creation as a shared courtyard dining experience.

Important information

Marina Navvaro Nacarino

Barcelona-born Marina Navvaro Nacarino grew up with paella as a Sunday tradition, where food, family, and connection came together around the table. Now based in Byron Bay, she shares this heritage through intimate seafood paella workshops and dining experiences.

A qualified primary school teacher with a Bachelor’s degree and experience teaching adults, Marina brings a warm, clear, and supportive approach to her classes. Designed for cooking enthusiasts of all levels, her workshops guide you step-by-step through the traditional Spanish method of making authentic paella.

More than a cooking class, it’s a cultural experience that leaves you confident to recreate the dish at home and bring a taste of Spain to your own Sunday table.
