There are currently no openings available for this course.

Introduction:

Joy of Mark Making is a relaxed, beginner-friendly drawing course with Becca Laws of Homemakers Club, exploring charcoal, pastels, pencil, and ink in a playful, supportive studio environment.

Through simple, intuitive exercises, you’ll loosen up, quiet the inner critic, and build confidence in your creativity—shifting the focus away from “getting it right” and toward expression, curiosity, and enjoyment. Working across a range of materials and approaches, you’ll be encouraged to experiment freely, embrace imperfection, and discover your own visual language.

This course is open to all levels, with no prior experience needed. It offers a calm, welcoming space to slow down, reconnect with creativity, and experience drawing as both self-expression and a form of creative self-care.

What to bring
