Tutor Profile:

Rachel Dun

Rachel is an experienced printmaker with over 25 years of dedicated practice, exploring a wide range of techniques within the medium. Having lived in the Byron Shire region for the past 30 years—first in Huonbrook and now in Brunswick Heads—her artistic work is deeply connected to and inspired by the surrounding landscape.

Holding a Degree in Visual Arts with a specialisation in printmaking, Rachel brings both technical expertise and a strong conceptual approach to her work. She is passionate about sharing her extensive knowledge, and is committed to fostering creativity in others.

Through her proposed courses, Rachel aims to provide students with a comprehensive and hands-on introduction to printmaking. Participants will learn essential techniques, develop their own visual language, and gain confidence in experimenting with different processes. Emphasising both skill-building and creative exploration, Rachel will guide students to discover that the possibilities within printmaking are truly limitless.
