Introduction:

This full-day workshop provides a solid foundation in tree health before exploring the principles and practices of tree pruning. Participants will gain the knowledge needed to make informed decisions that support the long-term health and structure of their trees.

The course covers the reasons, timing, and methods for pruning, exploring different types of pruning and the appropriate tools to use. By the end of the workshop, attendees will have the skills and confidence to prune trees correctly, ensuring their trees thrive for years to come.

Tutor Profile:

Sitara Gare has worked as a horticulturalist, arborist and urban forester for the past 23 years. She became certified with the International Society of Arborist in 2009 and comes from a long line of tree lovers. Sitara is particularly passionate about sharing her tree knowledge with others so their trees may live a happy healthy tree life.
