Introduction:
Build on your foundational skills as you explore new creative and technical possibilities within screenprinting, learning how to print your own cards, T-shirts and artworks using your own images and designs.
Over the weekend, learn how to expose your own image onto a screen photochemically and experiment with a range of printing techniques on both paper and fabric. The course also covers how to source and purchase screens, inks and tools, along with practical advice on setting up a simple home studio or darkroom—so you can confidently continue your work beyond the workshop.
Enjoy plenty of hands-on practice, with open studio access and guidance from tutors to help refine your skills and expand your creative direction.
This weekend course is designed for those who have completed the Beginners Screenprinting Course and are ready to take their practice further.

Tutor Profile:
With over 35 years experience, Jude White is a vibrant artist, textile designer and teacher. Jude professionally trained as a screen printer and textile artist at Melbourne University in the 80's. Since then she has continued her Arts practice and exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions as well as facilitating screen printing workshops all over Australia. Jude is passionate about supporting first nations artists' to translate their artworks into repeat printable textile designs and has worked with many Indigenous art centres, in particular: Injalak Arts & Crafts, Ikuntji Artists', and Waralungku Arts.
Currently living, mothering and practicing in Northern NSW, on Bundjalung country, Jude’s current work reflects the colours, shapes and textures of the Australian landscape through painting, botanical dyeing, printmaking, collage and cloth. In her work she aims to invoke a deep devotion of this sacred land and inspire others to appreciate and care for it.
