Introduction:
Starting a business is exciting — but managing your finances well from day one can make the difference between success and struggle. This practical, hands-on workshop is designed for new business owners who want to build strong financial foundations, feel confident with the numbers, and set their venture up for long-term success.
Over four hours (across 2 session), you’ll learn how to understand your finances, create a realistic budget, understand the importance of cash flow, and price your products or services for profit. We’ll break down financial concepts into simple, everyday language and provide tools you can start using immediately in your business.
Whether you’re still in the planning stage or have already opened your doors, this workshop will give you the clarity, confidence, and know-how to make better financial decisions.
The session will be using Excel for some spreadsheet activities; however Google Sheets and Numbers (Apple users) is compatible.

What You’ll Learn:

What You'll Need
- This is an online class - please ensure you have stable wifi connection for your computer plus video and speakers

Important information
Once your enrolment is completed you will receive a confirmation email. This email will include your receipt and inform you of the dates, times and venue for your course. It will also let you know of anything you need to take to class with you.

Tutor Profile:
Davina Bambrick
Davina is known for mastering the art of “doing more than one thing”.
After working for businesses in both rural and metro areas in the fashion and jewellery industry, and formally studying business at University, Davina was drawn into a corporate role as a Senior Executive, where she adopted the mindset of being “commercial with a heart”. After two decades in a fast-paced role, her creative spirit drew her back to “the bush” to start her own business. For the past almost 4 years, she has enjoyed a flourishing photography career working with magazines like Country Style and Galah Press.
In addition to being a photographer, Davina has opened the doors to The Bush Business Collective. A place where business operators outside of the metro areas, can cultivate a network, learn, feel inspired or simply connect for some advice or knowledge about how to start or run a business.
Alongside this Davina is an accredited Trainer and Assessor, teaching students how to develop the entrepreneurial mindset and essential skills to being effective in business.
