Introduction:
This workshop is underpinned in this trust in trees and explores how the colonial lens in which we have an do view our trees informs the decisions we make on retaining or removing trees.
The day will be split into several sessions that are topic focused and then small group exercises will be undertaken before coming back to the larger group to share learnings. In the afternoon session we will spend some time outdoors looking at trees to ground the principles we learn. Tree Myths will busted, some Latin will be used and definitely some tree puns shared. Many questions will be answered.
Come join tree lovers to learn more and share our love of trees.
What to Bring
- Pen and paper to take notes
- Shoes/clothing suitable for outdoor time, taking into consideration the weather on the day
