Introduction:
Have you ever wondered why some colours look great together while others clash?
In this course, we will break down the basics of colour theory in a way that’s easy to understand and apply. You will learn what hue, saturation, value, temperature, tints and shades are.
We will create a colour wheel that includes primary, secondary and tertiary colours plus tints and shades of these colours. This is a powerful tool that artists and designers use to create effective colour combinations. We will practice mixing and matching colours so that you feel empowered to mix your own colours in future paintings.
This course is designed for beginners, so no prior experience is needed. By the end of this course, you will have a strong foundation in colour theory, ready to apply your new skills to art, design, or any creative field.
