Introduction:
Have you heard about the benefits of Art therapy and would like to experience the joy of art therapy for yourself? Are you wanting to explore your inner and outer world through delving into creative and healing processes?
In this course you will be provided with a range of art therapy-based activities and creative expressive processes that will help provide you with a deeper insight and awareness of yourself and give meaningful expression to your lived experiences which can be a pathway to healing.
The joy of play and expressing ourselves creatively came naturally as children, but through the demands of life, work, study, family or personal struggles, these joys are often lost. Come on an 8 week journey and rediscover the healing and therapeutic power of expressive art therapy. No artistic skills or experience are required, it is more about the art making process and experience not the end result. An experienced and professionally trained Art Psychotherapist will gently guide and support you through these activities and processes.
This is not a training course to become an Art Therapist, but more of a self-help, self-awareness experience which you can utilise in your daily life, long after the course has ended.
