Tutor Profile:
Rasela Torise
Rasela has twenty-three years’ experience in Community Radio and Podcasting. Over this time, she has refined her skills to focus on producing and presenting long running magazine show Belly as well as a decade’s worth of CBF grant funded projects focussing on underrepresented minorities – Youth, Women, First Nations, Disabled and the Elderly.
Winner in the 2024 CBAA National Awards category Excellence in Community Engagement for the 3-part podcast series Young Legends in collaboration with Lealah Shostak and Monet Shortland. Finalist in the 2023 CBAA National Awards category for Excellence in Innovative Programming and Content. Finalist in 2025 CBAA National Awards category for Best New Program for the 6-part podcast series WOW: Wise Older Women. Rasela has also worked tirelessly behind the scenes at BayFM in the roles of Vice President, Programming & Media Team member, Trainer and Mentor.
Her classes are packed with inspiring and experiential content along with practical knowledge and in-depth notes. You won’t want the class to end!
