Tutor Profile:

Michelle Mac Anally

I have always been interested in education, well-being and living a healthy lifestyle.

As a teacher, I have taught in various settings both overseas and in Australia, including the Steiner School and Griffith University on the Gold Coast. I have taught different age groups from young children to university students, including international students and mature age students.

I became interested in massage after doing a Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage course in 2005. I then went on to do a Certificate IV in Massage then a Diploma of Remedial Massage, graduating in 2008.

I currently work as a Massage Therapist doing Swedish, Remedial, Deep Tissue, Hot Stones, Hawaiian Massage and Body Scrubs. I love helping clients fully relax and release tension from mind and body.

I aim to create a friendly, nurturing classroom environment where students feel encouraged and motivated to learn massage techniques, which can be used with family and friends, and which may even lead to further study and an exciting new career path.

In my free time, I volunteer at Cabarita Beach Surf Club and am a member of Team Koala, a group dedicated to koala conservation. I keep fit by doing Zumba, Yoga and beach walks.
