Introduction:

Embark on a dynamic sculptural exploration! Each week, delve into a unique form of sculpture, from wire and clay to carving, construction, and found object art. Through hands-on experimentation and creative exploration, you’ll discover different ways of shaping, building, and working in three dimensions while developing confidence in your ideas and making process.

This versatile course encourages curiosity, imagination, and playful experimentation, offering the opportunity to explore a range of materials and techniques in an engaging and supportive environment. Unleash your creativity and discover the joy of sculpting as you experiment, create, and bring your ideas to life.

What to bring
* Pencil & Paper
* A medium or large size takeaway container or icecream tub (for pouring plaster)
* Own refreshments
* Apron

Important information

Once your enrolment is completed you will receive a confirmation email. This email will include your receipt and inform you of the dates, times and venue for your course. It will also let you know of anything you need to take to class with you.

Tutor Profile:

Joanne Mulcahy-Zubani 
 
Joanne Mulcahy-Zubani is an award-winning artist and educator with over a decade of teaching experience in drawing and sculpture. Originally beginning her artistic career as a Sydney performance artist and poet, she later attended the National Art School and developed a distinctive practice focused on sustainable sculpture and mixed media works.

Her artworks have been exhibited nationally and internationally, earning artist residencies, finalist placements in major art prizes, and awards including recognition in Tuscany, Italy for her etchings on recycled white goods. Now based in the Northern Rivers, Joanne continues her creative practice while teaching across community colleges and creative workshops.
