Introduction:

Using the most popular online platform to create and maintain a website, you will learn to understand webdesign foundations, how to build, maintain and expand a website, as well as basics in Search Engine Optimisation, Marketing and Social Media.

Technology has advanced to a standard that makes it easy for everyone, and with a little guidance anyone can achieve a professional website.

  • Small businesses who are keen on their own web presence
  • Companies who have a website and are not happy with it or need insight in how to maintain or adjust it.

Gain the skills to create, maintain or improve your website. You can choose to work on your existing website or to make use of the online 'Sandbox' provided by the college. This workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced computer users.

Important information

Gerold Mayr

Gerold was invited to train a group of students for another College and from there has created a series of courses in Web Design and Internet Security.
 
The rest of his week is spent working in disability support and tinkering on an old motorbike-sidecar.
 
The best part of tutoring is that I get to do what I really love doing AND get paid for it.
