Tutor Profile:
Susan Wright
Susan grew up in a family printing business in Byron Bay. Her father started the local newspaper and as with any family business Susan learnt the tricks of the trade. Binding books, collating, numbering, dusting colours on wet inks for stationery was part of it all.
In latter years, Susan ran workshops from her Coorabell studio that were all paper related creations including papers on fabrics. These workshops were run in between working a full time job in a very busy office environment, and it was here that she noted how much paper was wasted! So, Susan began to recycle it.
Susan’s business Born In Paper now makes and creates paper products, running workshops far and wide, from Victoria to Brisbane and beyond.
Bringing people together through the process of recycling office waste to create beautiful stationery is a lot of fun.
