Reconnect with your creativity and explore the benefits of art as a tool for self-reflection, personal growth and wellbeing. In this supportive and nurturing course, you'll use creative activities such as drawing, painting, collage and journalling to gain greater self-awareness, explore thoughts and emotions, and develop new insights about yourself.
Over eight weeks, you'll be guided by a qualified Art Therapist through a series of creative exercises designed to encourage reflection, mindfulness and meaningful self-expression. No artistic experience is required—the focus is on the process of creating, not artistic skill. This course is an opportunity to slow down, rediscover the joy of creativity, and enhance your wellbeing in a safe and welcoming group environment.
What you'll learn:
- How art and journalling can support wellbeing and self-awareness
- Creative techniques for self-expression and personal reflection
- Ways to explore thoughts, feelings and life experiences through art
- Practices that encourage mindfulness, gratitude and self-discovery
- Strategies for reconnecting with creativity and the joy of play
- How to use creative processes as an ongoing self-help tool for wellbeing
