Trainer Profile

Zacariah Holt

Zac lives off-grid with his family, twenty-odd chickens, a cat and a duck.  He has been practicing permaculture since 2018 when he travelled through Africa volunteering on various permaculture farms. It has been two years since he went off-grid, six years since he had a flushing toilet, and ten years since he shaved his beard.

Zac has a broad range of skills from animal husbandry through to building and landscaping.  In his spare time, he enjoys getting into the garden and fishing pythons out of his chicken yard. He is resourceful and strategic in his practical approach to any permaculture design and situation.
