Our course is designed to build confidence and competence, providing you with the digital skills needed to succeed in various vocational pathways. Whether you're starting your career journey or looking to upskill, this course is your first step towards achieving your goals.
Course Duration & Hours
- Intake date: Monday 4 August 2025
- The course duration is 16 weeks (held over 2 terms)
- 1 day of face-to-face learning per week, 9.00am – 12.00pm, Mondays
- Delivery location: Mullumbimby Campus
- Assessments will be completed in paper format and online. The tasks and activities will be aligned with real-world scenarios.
- FSKDIG001 Use digital technology for short and basic workplace tasks
- BSBTEC101 Operate digital devices
- FSKWTG003 Write short and simple workplace information
- FSKDIG002 Use digital technology for routine and simple workplace tasks
- BSBTEC201 Use business software applications
- FSKRDG004 Read and respond to short and simple workplace information
- FSKLRG004 Use short and simple strategies for work-related learning
- FSKLRG008 Use simple strategies for work-related learning
- BSBTEC203 Research using the internet
- FSKWTG006 Write simple workplace information
- FSKOCM005 Use oral communication skills for effective workplace presentations
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification.

Nationally recognised Certificate I in Skills for Vocational Pathways – FSK10219 - upon successful completion
Course Fees are fully subsidised for eligible students:
- ACE Program Fee: $0* - most NSW residents are eligible for this subsidised fee!

A $100 cancellation fee will apply to enrolled applicants that do not attend any sessions of the course without sufficient notice.
*Please be aware that participation in fee-free courses will not be possible if assessments from previous fee-free courses are outstanding.

Important
Once your enrolment is completed you will receive a confirmation email. This email will include your receipt and inform you of the dates, times and venue for your course. It will also let you know of anything you need to take to class with you.
Please make sure that you give us a valid email address and mobile number as any course changes will be communicated via sms or email.
We keep our class sizes small so that you get a better experience. Avoid disappointment, enrol early!
Student Policies and Procedures
USI
You must provide BRCC with your USI at enrolment. If you don’t already have one, you (or your parent or guardian) can apply for one at http://usi.gov.au/create-your-USI/Pages/default.aspx. You will need to have one form of identification and a valid email address to create your USI.
Alternatively, college staff can assist you to create your USI. We will need to collect your identification and personal information to complete this. You will also need to complete a consent form for us to do this.
Storage, disclosure, use and security of the USI will adhere to the rules relating to the USI: https://www.usi.gov.au/about-us/privacy.
