Introduction:
Join Mark Swivel from Barefoot Law as he guides you through the processes and complexities of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Guardianship, Advance Care Directives, Probate Applications, Voluntary Assisted Dying and Document Drafting. The course aims to support you to make informed decisions when dealing with the law and life experiences that relate to death and dying. Mark has been practising for 30 years. Barefoot Law see legal advice as a right, not a privilege and aims to deliver practical advice to the community at affordable rates. Essential support for everyone, not to be missed.

This class will run from our NEW Byron Campus located at - Byron CoLab (old Hospital site) 10 Shirley Street, Byron Bay, NSW

Tutor Profile:
Mark Swivel
Lawyer. Writer. Councillor.
Mark is principal of Barefoot Law, a community legal practice in Byron Bay. A lawyer for 30 years, Mark has run key cases in aged care (Feros, 2023), small business (Bluefest 2020-21), unfair dismissal (Chait 2024) and mental health (Robbins 2023).
Mark is a writer and performer. Mark has a new book out One Pie Wellness co- created with artist Bec Kocass. Other work includes Water Falling Down (Queensland Theatre Company) and Making Australia Slightly Better Than Average Again (Puncher & Wattmann). Mark is also MC of Dustyesky.
Mark is a councillor at Byron Shire, president of Eureka FC and a long-time director at Spaghetti Circus. Mark does regular radio spots on the ABC and appeared on Late Night Live with Philip Adams who gave him a Koala Stamp.
