Introduction:

Join us for a series of empowering art workshops designed specifically for individuals with diverse abilities. Through playful exploration and creative collaboration Art will be made!
 
From complete novice to experienced artist, this workshop uses multi-faceted techniques to cater for all. An exhibition concludes the program to celebrate the creative adventure and share the journey with our trusted community.
 
These inclusive sessions will provide a supportive and accessible environment where participants can explore their creativity through various artistic processes.
 
Led by experienced facilitators, the workshops will cater to diverse needs, ensuring everyone can enjoy and benefit from the artistic process and tap into the creative spirit.
All participants must attend with their individual support worker. Attending support workers are encouraged to take part and have a sincere desire to engage in the creative process. This course is fully funded and all materials will be provided.

Course Fees 

Fees are fully subsidised for eligible students.
ACE Program Fee: $0* - most NSW residents are eligible for this subsidised fee!
Full Fee: $435
 
We kindly remind students that a $100 cancellation fee will apply only to those who do not attend any sessions of the Skill Sets course, and we encourage timely communication if any unforeseen circumstances prevent attendance.
 
This training is subsidised by the NSW Government.
 

*Student eligibility for ACE Program fee

 
To be eligible for government subsidised training through the ACE Program, you must:
  • Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or humanitarian visa holder, or a New Zealand citizen; and
  • Live or work in New South Wales; and
  • Be aged 15 years or older; and 
  • No longer be at school or equivalent; and
  • Provide the College with your USI at the time of enrolment (admin staff can assist you in obtaining a USI); and
  • Have not successfully completed the units listed under '**Assessments are made against units of competency' for this course.** Refer to the top of this page.

Important information

Once your enrolment is completed you will receive a confirmation email. This email will include your receipt and inform you of the dates, times and venue for your course. It will also let you know of anything you need to take to class with you.

Students are required to be 15 years old and above at the time of enrolment.

Tutor Profile:

Pavel Sola

Pavel is person-centred and community-minded. He is passionate about facilitating group experiences that enhance individual and collective capacity for collaboration, community engagement, creativity and wellbeing.?

After completing a Bachelor of Education, he taught in various primary school settings, before transitioning towards youthwork as well as mental health and disability support roles. These experiences inspired him to complete the Certificate IV in Community Services with Byron Community College, which eventually resulted in him joining the college team as a trainer.

Having worked with children, adolescents and persons living with a disability, he is now focused on adult education. Whether its developing vocational skills, creativity or wellbeing he thrives on encouraging all learners towards fulfilling their goals, aspirations and potential?
